🔄 RCON Update 6.12.2
• Automatic updates (auto-update): starting with version 6.12.2, the RCON now updates itself. Whenever a new version comes out (6.12.2 or later), it will be downloaded and applied automatically the next time your SCUM server restarts. Why this matters: you no longer have to keep downloading and swapping files by hand every time there's an update. Now you just restart your SCUM server (something that already happens often) and the RCON updates itself — way more convenient, and no risk of forgetting to update and getting stuck on an old version. • Admin log fix: we fixed an issue where commands run by the RCON showed up in the admin log as if they had been done by a player (with that player's name). This incorrect record no longer happens. ⚠️ IMPORTANT — this update still has to be done manually: To get these improvements, you need to update the RCON files manually one last time now. From 6.12.2 onward, future updates will happen automatically when the server restarts. But today's update (6.12.2) still requires updating the files by hand — this time it's still necessary.
